So I’m thinking of doing a custom build and find so many of these posts inspiring.Couple questions:I’m thinking of buying two small home or condo income properties, one at the beach and the other in the desert in California. Nothing fancy but California definitely ain’t cheap. I know I want to spend lots of time near the ocean and occasionally in the desert. My two favorite places. For those that have made the plunge into vanlife, do you feel it scratches the itch of being able to experience these sort of places without living in a traditional home or condo? Or does the romantic idea of being able to visit anywhere anytime fade?Do you need to stay in designated campgrounds or are you able to simply park on the street most places?Thanks!
