New ZK roll-ups pop up from time to time & they are opt-in, whereas sharding is a huge forced change to the entire state of Ethereum that will implicate composability for all dapps. How strong is the support for sharding as of now? (1-10) 10 being like proof of stake was. 1 is nonstarter.

Anyone else have worries about sharding's effect on composability? Composability being one of the most valuable parts of L1s - that anyone can write and deploy any piece of software onto Ethereum and anyone else can build on top of that permissonlessly (money legos).
