September 18. Bitcoin is below 20k , IBC coins have cooled from their recent pump. Atom's below 15 (down over 10%), ETH below 1400. With Monday coming, the usual Sunday dump seems to be forming up as my phone lights up with notifications for various altcoin price drops.GKEY and GLTO are at lows, with GKEY falling to 734 USD as more traders cash out in anticipation of the coming airdrop dump, and GLTO falling to 0.00425 USD as the lower OSMO price caused the GLTO USD price to fall, which led to some GLTO panic-sales.I don't like bad news, but with the coming GKEY airdrop, more downward movement is likely as recipients race to sell for whatever they can get before others beat them to it and drop the price. A GLTO price drop is likely afterward as holders who were expecting big GKEY money for holding 10k GLTO and from the LPs get less than they hoped thanks to the falling GKEY price -- leading to a GLTO sell-off that's likely to be less severe than the GKEY price drop, but still a thing. Meanwhile the Gelotto Shoppe mint has stalled out at 488 out of 1000 NFTs minted, Gelotto's Osmo and Kuji validators remain inactive (the Kuji validator was briefly active due to another validator being jailed, but that has since changed) due to the community simply not having enough crypto to get these validators into one of the top spots. When we list of all of this at once, it sounds awful, right? But it's important to keep in mind that bitcoin is below 20k, ethereum is below 1.4k, we're entering a global recession with horrible inflation across the board and first world countries scrambling to make financial changes that make life hard for normal people. The fact that Gelotto assets are doing as well as they are, before the platform has launched, is probably the best we can realistically hope for given market conditions. The Gelotto story is a great story, but not a fairy tale, and there's work to be done to try to make it in the real world, especially under these conditions. via /r/Gelotto https://ift.tt/3YchvfU
